As owners of both of these properties, with an eye to retiring here in the next 5 years or so, we spend around 50 days a year on site, making upgrades and constant improvements. Because we actually spend quality time living in these houses, they have all the niceties and amenities you would expect from a family home. The Tropics Interior
Spanning over 3,000 square feet, the interior has a relaxed and open floor plan with 2-story soaring ceilings, a spacious great room, wall-to-wall French doors and lower and upper screened porches for enjoying the lakefront setting and sunsets.
The Great Room is filled with beautiful furniture, decorations and artwork that provide an ambiance of tropical relaxation and belonging.
The chef’s kitchen is designed for entertaining with Bosch Professional Series appliances featuring a 6-burner stove, two raised bars, granite slab countertops, and a custom pounded copper farm sink with unobstructed lake views.

The laundry room features raised front loading GE washer and dryer with a separate sink.
We have installed a whole house water softener for improved water quality.

Private Master Suite
The entire upper floor is yours for luxurious living with an ultra-comfy king bed, private sunset balcony with chairs and table, California style walk-in closet, relaxing master bath with soaking tub, walk-in shower and double sink granite vanity. There is an additional private workspace with desk, chair and light.
Lake Room
Queen bed overlooking the lake with direct access to downstairs patio.
Ski Room
Two day beds that convert to two king beds. Tropical water ski theme. Dedicated desk and chair. Walk-in closet inside Jack and Jill bathroom.
The Lake Room and Ski Room share a Jack and Jill bathroom with separate tub, walk-in shower and double sinks.
Garden Room
Queen bed and walk-in closet with private bathroom and shower with handrails. Hand painted mural featuring the famous wedding gazebo at Cypress Gardens.
All bedrooms have TVs and luggage racks.
There is also a semi-private workspace under the stairs with desk, chair, light, bookshelf and office supplies.
